Roskilde VFR Day
It is time for yet another event in Denmark.
This time, it is the Roskilde VFR Day. Roskilde Airport (EKRK) will be fully staffed for the first VFR event in Denmark this year. All pilots are welcome regardless of intentions. If you want to go sightseeing, do touch and gos or even start the Danish VFR tour if you haven't already begun it, don't hesitate to join.
From the beautiful capital of Copenhagen with it's buildings dating back hundreds of years, the majestic bridges of Oresund and the Great Belt to the beautiful forests and beaches surrounding Gilleleje and Elsinore, the island of Zealand (on which Roskilde is situated) has plenty opportunities for VFR pilots to explore and enjoy a scenic relaxing flight.
For those of you wanting to do a little more than just flying on your own, we have created 4 VFR flights for you to fly. Pilots completing one the the flights will be given the Aviation Celebration Tours & Events Award. Use the menu in the top right corner to see the details of each flight.
In case of bad weather, Roskilde will still be open for IFR flights.
